In order for an internship program to work, students must be learning from it.  All students are asked to complete a self evaluation and to obtain an evaluation from the employer.  My internship showed me the professional world first hand and has made me feel comforted about entering the job market.  I owe much of my success to my supervisor and the resources available to me at the law firm.  To see how I ranked my internship please click on https://altezza24417.tripod.com/InternshipStudentEvaluation.doc.

The most important things that people can offer to a company are their knowledge, skills, and abilities.  I completed a KSA self evaluation form and the beginning of my internship and had my supervisor complete the same form after my internship.  I rose from 170 to 202. To view both scores right next to each other please click on https://altezza24417.tripod.com/SelfEvaluationForm.doc.  The check marks are where I initially rated myself and the xs are where I ranked myself at the end of the internship.  Based on my evaluation, I can see that I improved my knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Some examples of the skills that I improved are technology, communication, thinking, practical excellence, and diversity.
